Afternoon Tea

My first funeral last week at the East Devon Crematorium up near Whimple.  A beautiful place, light and airy with great views over the countryside.  I received a Thank you card today:

On behalf of our family, thank you for acting as Celebrant at Mum’s funeral.  We felt completely confident with your presence and delighted at the content – I know we derived it together but we were not thinking clearly enough to deliver the result with the style and sensitivity and confidence you exuded.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity – I love meeting with families and creating a ceremony so personal to them.
