Family and friends met together to support this wonderful family as they celebrated at Exminster Golf Centre for Poppy Mai’s Naming Day. We began by Lauren and Adrian lighting a candle for their daughter which they will keep and light on her birthday every year.
As her Parents, Grandparents and 6 Godparents came forward to make their promises to Poppy, they placed a pink rose into the vase on the table along with all of their hopes, best wishes and love for her.
After their promises they took a packet of poppy seeds to plant so that year after year the poppies will remind them all of their love for Poppy.
I asked all the guests:
Do you welcome Poppy into your lives and promise to support and encourage her in all she does? and they replied – Yes we do
