Cliff top Wedding Ceremony

A glorious day for Aimee and Tom’s wedding as I performed a Flower Ceremony as part of their personal Wedding Ceremony.

They chose pink peonies for a happy marriage, white roses for new beginnings, purity and charm and blue hydrangeas for gratitude.  These were the elements that they would like to bring to their marriage.  Family and friends placed their flowers in the vase along with all of their hopes, best wishes and love for them both.

They wrote a beautiful email afterwards with their photographs and these words:

We wanted to say a big thank you for the incredible ceremony, so many people comments on how lovely it was.  Thanks again

Meadow Wedding

Aimee and Tom look forward to a long and happy life together as they grow together as a couple in a loving equal partnership and always being there for one another no matter what life brings, supporting each other through difficult times, rejoicing together in happy times.  They celebrated their wedding with a Flower Ceremony and a Hand Fasting.

Aimee and Tom sent me these gorgeous photos and told me:

We wanted to say a big thank you for the incredible ceremony, so many people comments on how lovely it was.

Poppy Mai – Naming Ceremony

Family and friends met together to support this wonderful family as they celebrated at Exminster Golf Centre for Poppy Mai’s Naming Day.  We began by Lauren and Adrian lighting a candle for their daughter which they will keep and light on her birthday every year.

As her Parents, Grandparents and 6 Godparents came forward to make their promises to Poppy, they placed a pink rose into the vase on the table along with all of their hopes, best wishes and love for her.

After their promises they took a packet of poppy seeds to plant so that year after year the poppies will remind them all of their love for Poppy.

I asked all the guests:

Do you welcome Poppy into your lives and promise to support and encourage her in all she does? and they replied Yes we do

Poppy’ brothers Jayden and Kai read this beautiful poem to her

Poem: Our Smiling Little Sister

You are the little girl who smiles at me

The little girl who longs to see

Where all my toys are hidden away

You need them now it’s time to play.

The little girl who always smiles

The little girl who crawls for miles

You’re into things you shouldn’t be

Oh why can’t you sit quietly?

The little girl who chatters away

The little girl who has lots to say

I give you my promise that I’ll always care

As your big brothers and sister we’ll always be there

Joshua Molnar

A beautiful day for such a beautiful little girl.  To Poppy-  health, happiness and long life.

Bovey Castle Wedding

The wedding of Christina and Chris took place on Saturday at the beautiful Bovey Castle.  Guests arrived from as far away as Bermuda, Sweden, Netherlands, Canada, Scotland and USA.   The bride’s close friend  sang “How Long Will I love you” (Ellie Goulding) with the backing of a string quartet before the couple exchanged rings and said their own moving Vows to each other.

I received a lovely email today:
I wanted to take the opportunity to say the warmest thank you to you for the lovely ceremony you wrote and conducted for us on Saturday. We had such a wonderful time and it was really emotional in all the right ways.
I can’t begin to thank you for how special you made our day and we had so many lovely words from our guests about how beautiful the ceremony was.
You will forever have a special place in our heart and I have attached a photo I think is beautiful of the three of us.
Love and regards
Chris and Stina

Silver Wedding Cocktail

Theresa and Douglas celebrated 25 years together with a colourful ceremony at The Duke of Cornwall Hotel in Plymouth.  They bounced into the room on Spacehoppers to everyone’s delight!  The couple chose a flower ceremony to show their love for each other and unity with their family then made their own creation – a Cocktail which they named Pugwash Punch…. Theresa even added a special ingredient, an eyeball!  So they can both keep an eye on each other through life!  After a beautiful hand fasting ceremony, using red, silver and gold ribbons, they read their vows to each other.  There was not a dry eye in the room as Douglas said:

I promise to love her until I lay under the moon and stars for ever and a day.

The ceremony ended with Jumping the Broom and loud cheers from all their family and friends.

The video is now ready to view on my Facebook page.
