I met Zoe and Ben at their venue a few months before their big day.  They decided to have a Registrar first before asking their guests to make their way to the gardens for their personal wedding ceremony.  They were delightful throughout the planning stage and I was so moved to receive this message from them a few weeks later.  It was a pleasure to be part of your wonderful day Zoe and Ben!

Dearest Sarah,

Now that the dust has settled from Saturday, and we are begrudgingly accepting that the day has now been and gone, we wanted to take a moment to thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for the wonderful ceremony which you gave us on the day.

We’ve attended many weddings over the years, and one thing which never really struck us until after your wonderful ceremony, is that registrars in traditional legal ceremonies often speak in a manner which tends to be more authoritative and official, as opposed to compassionate and gentle. However, the way in which you delivered your wonderful words had a soft, warm and passionate tone which neither of us have ever heard during a wedding ceremony.

Truly wonderful!

The gracefulness with which you led us through the ceremony, from the flower ceremony to the hand-fasting, left us feeling so calm and comfortable, and your presence in the orchard was incredibly soothing.

Much like ourselves, many of our guests had never seen a wedding ceremony of this nature, and we were inundated with comments from guests about how wonderful they thought the ceremony was.

Much like we feel, our guests were amazed with how personal the ceremony felt, and how beautifully you delivered it.

The importance of your role in our day cannot be overstated, and our day was made all the more special for your wonderful contribution.

We wish you all the best in the future, and we are sure that, without doubt, you will continue to bring great happiness to many a bride & groom.

We’ll also be sure to let you know when our wedding photos are ready and available to view, and will send them along to you.

With our kindest regards and thanks,

Zoe and Ben
