I have been giving out my bookmarks with paper hearts of wildflower seeds for over a year now.
I ask family and friends at the funeral to take one to plant so that year after year the flowers will blossom in memory of their loved one.
The Funeral Director, Martin Coombe from Coombe and Sons, Dignity, told me today that he planted his heart last year and flowers bloomed and have reseeded this year.
They also attract bees and butterflies – he is very impressed!
