As well as being filled with people and great architecture, Piazza San Marco is also full of pigeons. Feeding these birds is banned but they flocked to our couple with hope and it made a great photoshoot for Tara

Through Naomi and Grahams work with their charity, Wedding Wishing Well Foundation, a friend asked them to search for a padlock she and her husband had attached to one of the bridges.  It is such a romantic gesture and represents the couple’s committed love.  After identifying the Rialto Bridge from the photos, we eventually found the padlock and Naomi and Graham attached one of their own.  It was a very moving moment as their friends were remembered with love.

As evening fell, I performed the Toast in a cosy restaurant which was a fitting end to a wonderful day.  I was delighted to capture their unique love and marriage in these personalised words.

“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.

So let’s raise our glasses in a toast to the strong and courageous Graham and Naomi.”

The next morning we ended our Venice celebrations with a romantic Water Taxi ride back to the airport and home again whilst reflecting on the special events we were privileged to be a part of.

I am so glad I got to know Naomi, Graham, Devon, Tara and Tracy and I look forward to writing and performing ceremonies, drinking Bellinis, eating pasta, sailing in gondolas, sharing breakfast and having many laughs with them in the future.
