I received wonderful feedback from my friend Chris Dew recently. I felt pleased and privileged to perform her mother’s ceremony and I find it hard to believe that my relationship with her lovely family has lasted for over 30 years! At the end of the ceremony I handed out paper hearts of forget me not seeds so that year after year the flowers will blossom in memory of Maggie.
I have known Sarah for many years so l had no hesitation in asking her to conduct the service for our final farewell to my mother. Sarah is passionate about her work and she sensitively and carefully guided us through what should be included in our service. She had a wealth of ideas to make the service personal and meaningful.
Relatives and friends attending the service were thoroughly impressed by Sarah’s compassion and professionalism and all felt the service was a perfect way to say goodbye to my mother and celebrate her life.
